How can you tell?
Really got thinking about my 4-5 shift problems and ocassion 2-3 (synchro grinds).... I know this issue has been covered, but Idk if my questions has...
How exacty would Mitsu prove my after-market clutch caused my synchro grinds as opposed tom the KNOWN TSB???
In other words, what would physically show the clutch did it, and not somethign as a result of the known TSB issues?
Thanks.

If there is a TSB, the problem was there and needs to be fixed, regardless of what clutch you have. I had the Exedy Triple carbon when I took mine in. they replaced what needed replaced, regardless of the clutch. It is a factory issue, they are aware of it, and sent out the TSB to upgrade the part. Your car would be doing it with the stock clutch also.

mitsu will void your warranty for anything and evreything ive heard. Even stock car warrantys are getting voided. They don't have to prove ****. I had tranny problems with my civic and honda voided my warranty due to my aftermarket part use and then I had to use the magnussen warranty act and failed all the way to the consumer protcetion agaency. I had the federal trade commission and the dmv left for options but by then I had no fifth gear and third always grinded. So I just gave up and swapped a different tranny in there. There was actually tsbs for my tranny on the honda but that did not help my situation at all. Honda is supposed to be one of the better car makers as far as warrantys but I wouldn't count on anything from mitsu.
