WHere did they get this info from? My parents heard it on NBC but I have yet to track down any more info. Anyone?
By the way, just think what your insurance would be if you also owned an Integra....oh man why do I own 2 cars on the top ten most stolen list???

It was on channel 32(Fox) news @ 9. I forget where they sourced the info from. I was pretty shocked and irritated. I previously owned a Civic Si, and that car was on the top 10 because of the B16. It never fails, every car that I own is a candidate for the most stolen vehicle.

not true, how many evos do u see on the road compared to others like tegs and civics, in car and driver a couple months back it showed top 20 and in there 5 were tegs just different years. mainly tegs because of the engine swaps with civics and the escalade was on their and 2 different years of civs

My daily driver is actually a mint EK hatch, and I always worry about it being stolen. It's a CX to make matters worst.

I think the irritating thing is why they are stealing this car. Most top ten stolen cars are stolen because they are sold in large amounts and share parts with many other vehicles. The Evo doesnt fit either of those descriptions...

I really don't think that the Evo would be top 10.
Civics and Integra's are for sure top ten, IIRC a magazine I read have 4-6 different year Integra's as top 10 stolen cars.
I fear for my Evo so I park in in the garage, or near a busy business wherever I go. The scary thing is I live in the city with the most car thefts per 1000 people, making the paranoia worse for me

BTW I researched a dozen web pages and the evo doesnt pop up on any. I believe with the evo's production numbers compared to others it would be impossible for the evo to be in the top 2!
