what is this?:

"Defect:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE TURBO CHARGER COOLANT HOSE WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED, AND MAY ALLOW COOLANT LEAKAGE.
Consequences:
IF A LEAK OCCURS, DURING VEHICLE OPERATION WHEN THE MANIFOLD IS HOT, COOLANT MAY IGNITE AND CAUSE A VEHICLE FIRE."

Since when is coolant flammable?

Since when is coolant flammable?
Since it was made with PROPYLENE GLYCOL... although slight. However, there are other ingredients to help prevent this.

From MSDS:
Fire:
Flash point: 99C (210F) CC
Autoignition temperature: 371C (700F)
Flammable limits in air % by volume:
lel: 2.6; uel: 12.5
Material can support combustion.
Explosion:
Containers may explode in heat or fire.
Fire Extinguishing Media:
Dry chemical, foam, water or carbon dioxide.
Special Information:
In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode. Move exposed containers from fire area, if it can be done without risk. Use water to keep fire-exposed containers cool.

here's a reply from the guy

Hello,

First of all thank you for your e-mail regarding my car.

It is in perfect condition with no technical or aesthetical flaws or imperfections. It has never been involved in any accident. The car was bought from the US and respects all US standards(DOT,EPA).

I live in ENGLAND now and I cannot sell it here or register it because of the different standards and the steering wheel which is on the left and english have it on the right which is the greatest impediment. The title is clear and was issued in the US so the transfer will be easy and you will not pay any customs if you decide to buy it.

The shipping will take 7-14 days. I will cover 1 third of the shipping cost and you will pay the rest of 2 thirds. I suggest we use Escrow Insurer to manage the payment. It is the safest way for both of us and also you will have 10 days to inspect the car before I receive the money.

I am waiting for your e-mail if you are interested in the car.
Regards.
Adam.
