How are you going to appraise the trade in if out of town?

Ditto on that. I would seriously consider a new RS/GSR

Just picked up the IX MR from LongBeach Mitsu...Been nothing but a pain and the *** dealing with those people since Memorial Day...I drove down there to have the alarm installed, came back three days later and the alarm wasn't installed. I had to drive 30 miles to get there. They also promised switching my aftermarket parts (off my trade-in Evo) over to the new IX, then they said they could not re-install, then they said they couldn't even take them off the trade-in Evo...Then I b!tched and b!tched and then they said they would take the parts off the trade-in Evo...I am still waiting for a call to tell me if they are ready yet...I am still waiting to have the alarm installed.

I am rather pissed off at the SouthCoast Mitsu group.

I am waiting for a full resolution before I do a write up of my less than pleasing experience...I am hoping they make my frustration go away by setting me up somehow. I asked how they were going to make me happy and they said they weren't...I will hold further fire until everything is resolved.

As it stands I am composing a letter to MofNA.

Kudos to Mark for bringing this deal! I can attest that he is great to deal with - first class all the way. And Bernie at DAS will take care of your shipping needs. My IX MR arrived exactly as promised - not one mile extra - all paperwork, etc., was correct.

Great deal for those of us on the East Coast. My local dealer begged to see the sales order form - could not believe my price. Don't wait on these!

I'm very interested in picking up a IX, however i'm in NY. While I don't mind paying for shipping, I don't trust someone carting my car across the USA. I'm afraid it's going to get messed up by road debris, or otherwise abused by someone that drives it on / off etc. Don't know what to do

Check the DAS website. DAS offers all kinds of shipping options including enclosed transport, top-load, and additional insurance to protect your car in transit. Yes the options cost more, but with SC's great fixed prices, the overall deal still should work out in your favor VS a local dealer.
