Nice scoop there threepointsix. I tried ordering that part for the newer evo 9 but they run out of stock. That thing alone costs $3,000+ w/o shipping. Much more than a complete body kit. So i had to settle for the older version.

The scoop looks really out of place right now, but bear in mind that it's not properly secured or molded. I think that once it's nicely molded into the roofline and painted, it will look really subtle, but sick. Do it right and it will look nice.

PM me if you need someone who can paint and mold. I know a guy who did the work on my car and is really awesome. Keep it original, bro!
Thanks SilverStreak for the support and for everyone with their honest opinions, I was just thinking outside the box when i ordered this scoop. I really fell in love with the evo rally cars when i first saw it in person. These are pretty much more popular with Uk evo's and sti's. Anyways, i still haven't decided to put it on. I am still waiting for the rear window vents and will see from there. Happy father's day to every father out there.

That's extremely cool, but only if it's functional, of course. I have the rear window vents and they do make a difference on the road course.

form follows function. If it doesn't function, the form isn't worth it.

Make it functional and continue the rally look.... I like it and I think to shut these haters up you should do some local rally cross events

If you car has AC then a roof scoop is useless and will devalue your car. Same for the window scoops. The car will be so loud on the highway

I like it. The only thing I would be worried about drilling/cutting the roof for the scoop is heat leak out during the winter or water get sucked in during rain/snow. I would snoop around some rally-esque forums/websites to see what they do to be able to close it up if necessary.

Thinking about some 7 tails on it?
