^+1 if these things work well, I would be interested, if your brave its an easy way to teach somebody stick, although with my exedy twin and 400whp, this isn't a learner....

doesnt really seem like it would help at the strip, but it seems like it would be easier downshifting at track events. I wish I knew someone with one so I could try it out.

He bought it from Tommy Kaira japan I believe, install wasn't all that terrible.

is there any companies other than ikeya? i'm looking for a shifter with less throw. if you watch the video of these its got like 6 inches of throw. not that good for a rally and its frequent shifting

does anyone know if hollinger has a website? i know they make a sequential gearbox with a sequential shifter

Did somebody say Ikea shifter? Sorry, I had to say it, lol. Is there any sequential shifter that can somehow get rid of the clutch? Does an electronic one allow this?

Our cars seem to be about the same hp wise. I may be the guinea pig. I'll see what I can come up with.

sure, Ralliart has a dogbox available, but i dont think any single replacement shifter will allow u to go clutchless. Check the BMW clutchless technology but a full replacment tranny is probably how it works.

Rod Millen built a rally open class Evo 7 with a dogbox, it was featured in DSport about a year ago. I noticed that the shifter they had in it looked to be the same as what the works GrN rally Evos are running.

Might be worth a call to them (RMR) to see what they used and if they can source it for you.
