SRT-4 to Evo IX MR
#16
We're happy to help, and we know all the answers to your questions, but can you PLEASE at least _TRY_ to search for some of these answers? The first reply told you to search, but then you continued to ask more and more basic questions without searching. This is all EXTREMELY basic and simple information that just about every Evo owner knows. All I ask is that you put forth a little effort instead of asking to be spoonfed. The more you help yourself, the more I'm willing to help you (same goes for the rest of EvoM).
If you had done ANY research, you would already know how amazingly well the Evo responds to mods. Then, you'd also have seen that the IX itself is basically a supercar because of how much power it has stock and how much more power it makes with basic mods. The IX alone makes the 03-05 VIIIs look like weaklings.
I suggest starting with the package in my sig then going from there. However, there's no way to accomplish your goals without voiding the entire warranty, so you'll need to make up your mind about which one is more important.

^ Its has a little bit more power than the 03-05's but you make it sound like its a whole different animal like a C6 Z06 or something. stock for stock theres not a HUGE power difference. Its certainly a little smoother and faster but you're hyping it up Warr. The big difference is when you start the modding process. You get far more power with a lot less parts and money on the IX compared to an VIII

Put it this way:
- Evo VIII with TBE/MBC/BOV/FP and custom tune = ~300whp
- Evo IX with TBE/MBC and custom tune = ~350whp
That's a HUGE difference. I didn't specifically say the difference was huge in stock form, but it is still sizable...

Warr, I think you meant to say I agreed with you be disagreeing with you but regardless, dont be manipulative. Re-read your post to acknowledge your misleading exaggeration.
