i dont own an evo but with those mods he should be trapping around 115-120. am i wrong.

correct. the stage 3 claims to trap at 115.09mph and thats about 20whp less then what he claims to have.

Your car is slow as *****. I hope Buschur gets in contact with you to find out what is wrong. Not a good representer of his stage V.

Its not the driver with a 106mph trap.

Anyone considering "nitrous oxide" not NOS or NAWS, should have driven mid to high 11's on racegas or meth injection first.

So instead of $hitting all over your mods or your ability i will give you this advice. Nitrous on a stock turbine is a bad idea. I have seen people with well built engines blow the #ell out of there turbine trying to pump more juice out of a turbine whos duty cycle was well expended. If you get a bigger turbine i have also seen some of the "bigger" guys use Nitrous on their turbine to get them past the lag to spool up faster. To use nitrous throughout the whole quarter mile isn't very smart ....from what i understand it plays #ell on the turbines life expectancy. But then you have som many different routes that you can go with the dry system or wet system and even direct port. My advice would be go to the track or try doing a search, i know they just discussed this topic not to long ago . Or even go to a bok store (a good one .... not your library) and see if the have any material in the subject of turbines. I know Super Street hase a Drive Train book out that i read, it was really good and actually talks about using nitous on turbos. Good luck man, don't wreck your ride, do the homework.

Nitrous is like any type of fuel. It will accelerate a good tune, and will also speed up a bad tune. Your signature shows that you are utterly confused. There is no BR Stage-5. Buschur doesn't make the cams.
If you are at Stage-4, I suggest you step up to Methanol.
And for the love of AWD god Learn To Drive!

I think meth is a better idea than nos. Plus there are many kits built for our cars already. Nos is a generic setup like our alky's but alky kits come dime a dozen for evo's.

Nitrous to me is like cheating on your girl with another hotty, it's alot of fun and you can get away with it if you do everything right...but when it goes wrong, it really goes wrong. I say go for it

OK OK STOP!!! first hee is a list of all my mods, no i am not lying, this is why i need to know what i am doing wrong.

Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" DOWNPIPE
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" CATBACK
Buschur Racing MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER
Buschur Racing EVO VIII MAF PIPE KIT
Buschur Racing EVO VIII UPPER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing FORGE BOV USING YELLOW SPRING
Buschur Racing RACE FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER
Buschur Racing LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing SHORT THROW SHIFTER
Buschur Racing HKS 272 INTAKE CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing HKS 272 EXHAUST CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing APR STUD KIT
Buschur Racing WALBRO 255LPH FUEL PUMP
HKS FINE TUNE STRONG TIMING BELT

I am just asking cuz when i looked at the times i thought i should be in the 11's.

And as far as the stage 5 kit costing $215.00, that is if you already bought all the way up to stage 4. see you start at stage 0 or 1, then after you have a stage 1 then you add the price of stage 2 and then stage 3 and so on. so the stage 5 kit for me is the combined total of stage 1 thru 5.

I would hope that I wouldnt get ripped on and maybe someone would help me figure out what is wrong. When i ran that 12.9 that was on 93 octane gas and at 20 psi. I just need to know if anyone has any ideas what i am doing wrong

nos, is safe as long as it is "installed","maintained" and "tuned" properly... i've had n2o on every vehicle i've ever owned with the exception of my jeep and have never had a problem....

According to their website

Stage 1 $1350.00
Stage 2 $700.00
Stage 3 $1250.00 but mine was $1450.00 cuz I got the Race FMIC
Stage 4 $400.00
Stage 5 $215.00

Total for stage 5 $3915.00 add $200.00 if you want the Race FMIC.

Plus I have the Exedy Twin disc race clutch $1450.00
Plus I have the BR short shifter $135.00

So I was doing a 14.0 fastest time stock, and now I am 12.9... I have to be doing something wrong!!!

It would be nice to get advice and not be ripped on
