finally got myself a evo!

i just got my evo yesterday! i always wanted an evo since i was a kid and this day has finally come. do you guys think this is a good deal? its a 03 with 30k, brand new calipers and brakes, brand new 4 tires, hks bov, turbo timer, boost gauge, cusco rear strut bar, catback exhaust, and its dropped for all 24,500. the color of the springs is orange..does anyone know what kind of springs those might be?? and also do you think i would need an alignment since its lower bcuz it feels like it do need one. oh yea the ride is smooth but it can get really uncomfortable sometimes.

overall i just want to know what most of you guys think?? did i get a good deal or not??

Your Post

I personally would take off the lowering springs and replace them with the stock ones, if he or she did not give them to you at the time of purchase, then I am sure you can find some used on the site somewhere. I believe the orange colored ones are Tanabee but don't quote me on it. But that is my guess. Congrats on the purchase, now welcome yourself to crazy insane insurance. haha...Take Care of it!!!

yeah i sold mine for 23k with 24000 miles and more mods then you listed 2 years ago (before the glorious evo9 came out) and STILL i gave that guy a good deal. your 03' evo with 30000 miles shoulda been closer to 22k unless u bought it from a dealer, then u basically paid for some warranty. also if those new tires are advans and not some cheap crap, then u actually didnt get ripped off.

A week or so ago some one from Mitsu was offering a great price around $27,000 or so for new IX. In comparison, your's is not a very good deal. But what matters is whether you were happy with deal or not. If you try to research on this now (after the fact), you will end up disappointed for sure.

So have fun and enjoy the car.

most dealership dont sell used cars in a decent price, they will tell you all those sh** bout the mods on the car when they have no idea what theyre talking about. damn 266 a month for the insurance?? i thought i have the highest insurance payments. maybe coz of my sparkling clean record.
