Take a number man...we have no real definites as far as the Evo goes. If we do get an automatic Evo, it'll be the Evo GTA. Look around the board for info on that fallacy of a car. Hopefully we'll get the GTA and a GSR (plus RS)...appeal to a broader market...We'll see...

Really, turbo and auto doesn't go well together. With the lag it'll feel like a civic or worse.
If you must go with an automatic i'd go with the V8 high torque N/A cars with makes city driving a ease. If you live towards the south with no snow i'd suggest an auto vette or something decent in auto form.

I test drove both stick and auto WRX's as part of a test drive event. The auto felt like a different car with zero in gear pull until the kickdown came... my RS felt faster. The stick was very nice however.
If I'm reading in between the lines properly here, are you saying that you'll be on a cell phone a lot while driving?

Secondly, stick is easy to learn. It takes only days to manage the basic, the rest is just driving it everyday....

lol I have seen some very fast WRX's around....
no I do not have one in my garage... Well I do but it is a stick....
Yes I have driven a EVo VI Tommi Makinen edition...red and baaaad....
before mods my WRX felt slower after mods it felt almost as fast.... the driving feeling thou is different.... that was only a test drive back to back with a euro Impreza GT that felt alot less of a car....
Cheers
