Why don't gas station nozzles fit?

I have actually started experiencing the gas problem recently myself. I usually leave the nozzle halfway in and don't have any random shut-offs like the tank is full.

It is difficult to word a response without sounding dirty, heh heh.

disel gas nozzle is made so it wont fit into the gasoline car's fuel tank openings.

i usually hit bottom when i put it all the way in.... but nothing comes out for a long time...

IM SOOOO MAD! Ive owned this car for 2 years and never ever ever ever saw that or used it!
Dont think I will anyways but i thought I knew alll the simple details. OOPS Im wrong. Matter of fact I think ill forget about this thing buy the time I get fuel (Tomorrow)

You muyst orient the gas cap such that the handle either perfectly parallel or perfectly perpindicular to the fuel door so that one of the longer tabs on the gas cap (there are 4 of them) fit behind the built-in ledge in the fuel door. Unless your gas cap and/or fuel door is damaged or not OEM, I assure you it will work.
