Question Why don't gas station nozzles fit?

For some reason, gas station nozzles don't fit. They're all curved, but the filler seems to be designed for a straight nozzle. Anyone else notice this? I can still get gas in the car, but the nozzle only goes in a couple inches.

One thing I noticed ii the Evo is that if that sations pumps pump fast. Itll shut the pump off like it was full. So I have to hold the handle half way down so I can put gas in.

That happens to me too. I wonder if it's related to not being able to put the nozzle in all the way.

Somehow I knew someone would say that.

BTW, you meant "you're" not "your"

doesn't change the fact that you don't know how to pump gas

Same problem here... Fuel nozzle doesn't go all the way in. It only goes in to the first bend, not to the rubber ring like it does on other cars. Lol... let's see what you sick people think up from that one.

Seems like I have to be extra careful not to get gas all over the side of the car as well. I've only had the pump shut off early on me once, but it has happened.

yeah i had the same problem on my g35. it would click like the car was full. once i thought maybe my gas gauge was broken on the g35 because it kept doing it. then i gave the gas pump "half throttle" and it started flowing
