ac, temperatur control knobs

I admit, the feel of the oem HVAC control knobs give a cheapo feel to the interior and would love to upgrade them as much as the next person. However it would be a crap load of work (much worse than putting power windows and door locks in an RS) and just getting salvage parts from Japan would cost an arm and a leg and take weeks to months to get here. Thats assuming you can speak Japanese
I bet the duct work is all diff with assorted sensors through out the dash. If I were to guess, one would have to gut out the whole dash and redue most of whats in there. To make matters worse we don't even know how many and what parts to replace and if you are missing something it has to come from Japan
