A Mitsubishi dealer that stands behind their car!

About two days ago I noticed my Evo was leaking oil. Upon inspection I could see that quite a bit had been leaking but was unable to determine the exact location due to the bottom panel. To make a long story short I called my local dealer (Stuart Mitsubishi, located in Stuart FL.) and informed them of the situation. They said that if I could bring it in right away they could look at it and let me know whether it was serious or not while I waited. Within 35 minutes of arriving they had located the leak and determined that a factory hose clamp had apparently fallen down into the left side front engine area next to the turbo (facing vehicle) and rubbed a metal oil return line causing it to leak. Not only did they cover it under warranty but they gave me an 05 Endevor SUV as a loaner for the 2-3 days it was down for repair! They said it would probably be done late Thursday and ended up calling me @ 1300 hrs to say it was ready to pick up. In addition they changed my oil & filter (w/ Synthetic of course) too!
Just so you know, I bought my 05 Evo there and told them that I had installed a TB exhaust & intake. They said It would not void my warranty unless there’s clear signs of abuse. They have been very professional and honest with me from day one. They can expect future business!
I just thought I would give credit to a dealership that did a great job by providing “no-hassles” warranty service and excellent sales!!! It’s nice to hear good news for a change!!!

Congrats Kyle. Just goes to prove there is too much hype in dealers voiding warranties at any sign of modification.

the GVR4kid,
No I'm sorry, it's not "Wallace", it's Stuart Jeep & Mitsubishi. I just hung up the phone with them, they called to make sure I was satisfied with my service!
