NEED HELP installing seibon hood.

ok i got the hood today. finaly. and now how do i install it. i got my stock hood off. i want the stock vent in my c/f hood. is that fiberglass thing on the seibon hood for a reason. i see no holes where the stock vent will line up to. wtf.

UPDATED-------------- ok i got the hoo on the car. how can i ajust it. it fits but not good. seems there is 1/2 inch on the sides of space/gap. and where the hood curves down in the frunt is looks like it curves to mcuh. im not really happy with this right now.

drill your own mount holes... you are going to have to do some modifications if you want the vent on there... good luck

I'm on my 2nd seibon hood and all I can say is that I can't see a way to transfer the oem vent because the opening on the seibon is bigger than the oem vent. There is nothing to catch the vent from falling thru. Side note, I messed with the first one taking out their ****ty home cheapo mesh and in doing so i think i shouldn't have because directly afterwards the hood developed about 15 or so tiny inch long cracks along the side of the vent opening closest to the windshield.

**How much for the yellow shopping cart handle? Holla back!**

So you're saying that with the seibon mesh and the wierd fiberglass shipping insert underneath it removed, you can set it on the hood and it wont fall thru?

no you need that underpanel. thaty fiberglass part is what the vent bolts to. you got to trim it and make holes. but the top of the hood meets the vent like stock. it cant fall thru.

pic's will come when my frind can stop by to take them. i dont have a cam. lol. but i will post them for you guys to see.
