add a resonator?

Anyone added a resonator to their aftermarket catbacks, for the purpose of softening the exhaust noise?

Mine, injen catback, has a built-in resonator but still too loud for my RS. Instead of spending another grand for Fujitsubo's dual resonated catbacks, I'm thinking of welding in a resonator to my injen.

Anyone done this???

You could always replace your cat with a resonator...not sure if this would quite anything down however...

+1.

I would pick up a resonated TP before hacking up your cat back.

So, who carries one of these?

Also, replace my HFC w/ TP may defeat the purpose of softening the tone.

I've lived near Bethesda, but I live closer to Baltimore now (in Severn). This is because Maryland is full of performance oriented drivers! Check it:

If you already have a HFC- nevermind. You can either have a shop add a resonator or get a different catback.
