greddy boost controller
has anybody messed with the profec b sec 2. for some reason the boost keeps jumpin around. i tried raisin the gain and lower =init but it still does the same thing. any info will be appreciated.

I dont have any technical info for ya except maybe something's wrong with yours or its installed incorrectly?
I had the spec 1 on my evo and it controlled the boost very accurately.
That being said I just ordered a spec 2 for my evo IX. I'll repost after its installed =D

Did you remove the plug that you are not using?

there is a thread on how to tune the ebc
look for it and there are good base settings posted by people here
I did the initial setup on mine as per greddy
then found out its close to waht others posted
but you will need to tweak the settings for your car and mods

The hose has a restriction inside. Called a pill, like a plug with a small hole inside, allowing some air throught but not much, and changes the boost pressure.
When you add a boost controller, it is important to remove the stock hoses and use new, good quality ones.

the only stock hosin i have is the boost guage hose. the hosin to the wastgate and turbo have been replaced. i used the specs from the other thread and the boost still fluctuates.
