my second one has failed ....... I am working with GReddy as we speak on this issue on EGT sensor and guage. GReddy tells me it's not common...

here is a pic of my no longer used stock exh manifold where the first sensor was mounted, and it lasted about 100 miles...

 

do it the correct way, google or search the forum arcives for the correct way to install the plug that reads the egt. dont be scared to drill the stock manifold. if you pm me. i can help you. good luck. and dont dirll into your dp. its useless, you wont get a accruate reading
