I don't get why AZ3ar gets hassled but the bikers NEVER do when you can hear them from a mile away.

i love how a car cant have an aftermarket exhaust but all these a-holes on harleys and choppers can tear *** around with exhaust systems so loud that you cant hear the person next to you speak. Atleast thats how it is here in New York, I feel its kid of unfair but theres nothing we can do. I have been pulled over for an exhaust on my r32 when i had it and had a chopper go by while the officer was handing me a summons and telling me to change it out because i had a "loud exhaust" i could not hear a word he was saying(had to have him repeat everything) when the chopper went by i just looked at the officer and laughed. But in your case it was bone stock, now thats absurd.

you need to file a complaint with his dept. for being in competent. the matter would be investigated, regardless of the outcome, it stays in his record. if everyone would do this cops would think twice.

I think bikes dont have any db levels they have to stay within.

Kinda stupid because those fricking hoggs are way way way to loud.

They go out of their way to make the bike loud.

But really way to go keeping your cool with the little piggy. That power badge they get to wear makes all the difference in the world.

Too bad you couldnt have told him straight up this is a stock car,,,, get over it you dumbass and go do somthing worth while, after you blip him on his head with his own nightstick.

Just to try to knock some kinda scence in his head. But no,,,, they have the almighty "Badge". So ,, well played mate!

thank god i havent been pulled over yet in my evo. Now my eclipse on the other hand was a cop magnet. I even had a cop pull me over to ask me what my FMIC was. lol

The best thing to do in situations like this is use your head, and think faster then the cop. My dad always told me "your mouth will get your a$$ in trouble" so just stay calm and be smart but dont let them push you around like some punk.

Just so that it helps any, when you get pulled over you should have your engine shut off to start with however your experience with the cop was absurd.

The best thing to do is to contain yourself and cooperate with the cop, as hard is to maintain your conduct the cop would leave you alone sooner if you cooperate with him.

My previous post makes a point but i just went off topic a bit. The truth is, cops can't pull you over and make dumb excuses for it. Such as go to the dealership and get it fixed when you told them its stock. I know my laws, you can get his *** fired for profiling and lack of training. If you research enough, you will find a lot of cars have been pulled over for stock exhaust and the cops have been fired due to harrassment. The cops can't tell you to bring your car to the dealership. And I'm 19 and I'm a Marine paying off my own Evo, you don't even own a Evo so stfu.

Sorry dude, the rest of the world is NOT like California. There are some states that you can get the crap beat out of you and you get time for it.
Hell, when I lived in VA a statie asked me if I would be interested in working on his 'gray and blue'. But then again, I was driving my loud (3" dynaflo 40's) T-Bird.

i was kind of paranoid today when i pulled up next to a cop...the light turned green and i waited til he started rolling(cuz the a/c was on and the car is slightly loud)...except he looked over at me and waited until i went...he then got behind me...i was like wtf?... then he changes lanes and zoom zoom zooms off...jerk...

btw my car is stock with just 236 miles on it with goofy new metal smells under the hood...crispy!
it wasnt your exhaust it was that humongoid wing which in every cops eyes screams "punk street racer"

Wow I commend your calmness, I wouldn't have been so calm, especially with the take it back to the dealer and have them do something about it comment.
