I hope he's not trying to boost to 28psi without alky and/or race gas and tuning.

You boost 28psi by learning how to use the boost controller. EBCs are difficult to setup and tune at first, so keep working.

I'm eager to see how your car does at 28psi.

TY, of course it's possible to run over 20psi? What would make you ask that? You could make your boost controller give you 30psi if you wanted to. We run 20 from the factory, and 90% of us run more than 20 with mods. The boost controller should be able to give you 15 or 25psi as long as you know how to use it. At the moment, it appears you don't know how to use it or don't have it installed properly.

Lastly -so this reply isnt totally useless and just another fight with Warrtalon ( as he causes a disruption on every single thread) - I found some pretty good information in the how to section on tuning the Greddy Profec B spec II

Yes its possible to boost 20 psi. You'll be able run 22 psi PEAK (unless you're running on crappy fuel like 90 oct)

Focusing on your issue. I believe is the setting. Remember, you still have two modes to choose from, maybe you haven't select the correct mode plus the gain must be tune as well.

Take the boost line directly from the waste gate and the compressor side nipple as the stock factory boost solenoid has now nothing to do with your boost.

Always make sure none of the lines are pinched and definately make sure your lines are not cut , broken or loose for leak issues.

i have the same controller. im runnin about 22 psi. but im still tryin to get it to run smooth. right now my settings are 56%, 7% gain, 240 set gain. try this and tell me if you run smooth in 4th and 5th. i experience boost loss at high rpms but its only a couple of pounds. i really havent ran it with this settin. too much traffic on a small island with small roads
