By far the worst review of an Evo IX I have ever seen...

For #@&$*'s sake, at least do a little research before reviewing a car.
The original article was re-written. It was a cut-and-paste job that seemed to be done by someone in England. THe picture they had up was of an MR, but now it's a regular Evo. THey're hacks over at C-Net.

Fantastic seats, nice steering wheel.. everything else about the interior is average. Your money is buying what's under the surface. I was worried I'd miss my M3 because of its better interior and extra features.. not at all.

that was a spot on review. they gave performance a 10 (perfect) - "this exceedingly rare score is reserved for a product that is as perfect as it could be". and comfort was a 5, which is average. i'd agree with that.
don't forget, that is a techy site reviewing a car that is geared towards performance and not cool interior electronics. cnet is better for reviews on the latest electronics.

I found it a well balanced article, who has as ideal readers those who don't know what an EVO is and would like to know.
So it's only fair to highlight both pros and cons of the car.
If you look at the values explained, you can see how fair the article is: comfort is given a 5.0, which is rated as: "functional but unremarkable", which is exactly what the EVO is from a comfort point of view.
Safety is rated 8, which stands for "superior in so many ways that its relatively few drawbacks are not very important", and again, I find this absolutely spot-on.
Performance is rated 10: "This exceedingly rare score is reserved for a product that is as perfect as it could be." Again, absolutely correct.
You may object: "who cares about comfort while driving an EVO?" well, you never know.
If you are not interested in comfort, you just ignore the Comfort rating of 5 and you will judge the car just by its Performance rating of 10, but it's only fair and right to give a rating to ALL aspects of the car.
