Hello,

Do any vendors here resell rails that will fit a Recaro Pole Position seat?

I have also heard some Recaro seats fit with Bride Rails. Will the pole position fit with the Bride FG-type or FX-Type rails?

Interested too. I have a set of SRD's that I'd like to use but they don't seem to bolt up to the stock EVO rails. What are my options?

I'm not sure about this but I think that the pole positions will require an additonal bracket, while the Recar Profi SPG should bolt right of to the FO or FG rails

well i had custom brakets made up for my polo seats, they are light weight and sit low, they also have no sliders so its not going to move at all, the guy right now is making them a little wider to be perfict for the seat since its a little wider then sparcos. anyhow pm me if want his info

Did you have to do anything special to get the FG rails to work because I heard that they will not fit the Pole becuase of its wide mounting size

go through aspec at 626-618-1100 and speak to francis, he worked out all the fittment issues. my car has pole positions with bride rails/sliders, it came out looking like factory ! with lots of head room.

and is the seating position higher or lower than the stock recaros?

l.i., and the seats come out slightly lower than stock, you do have other holes for adjustment. it took a very long time and i whent through all kinds of dealers claiming they knew what they were doing before i got in touch with francis. the seats are roomy,comfortable and hold you in! unlike the stock seat.
