I think almost all premature failures of the EVO are due to people overboosting with a stock fuel pump and bad tuning! I'm sure if I jump in my car today and slam the boost up to 28psi I can blow it up easy!

45k here. Just picked her up other day, and was getting a little nervous about the mileage. But I think she's good for a while. Stock clutch, BTW.

Some of us are not that modified, but I will be and I don't expect my stock internals to last more than that after installing my GT30R kit.
I have 20,000 on mine and I'm currently looking for a beater, hopefully I find one soon an the Evo can rest for a while.

I'm at 48K+ miles right now and still with stock clutch! Also got a few road track days under my belt on my daily driver and it's still going great. The clutch is still good, but it was making some noise this past winter, so I decided to buy an ACT clutch and flywheel combo to anticipate the stocker going out. Don't want to miss the first track day of the season!

But I'm going to hold off the clutch replacement till past 50K miles, just for the hell of it.
