That's really amazing, especially it's a boosted car. But sucks for the gas mileage though, but I guess he doesn't mind since he get paid very good.

wow thats awesome, I totally agree with what he says about cars are meant to be driven. I have friends with "slower" or "less expensive" AWD cars and they are afraid to take them out in the snow. They call me crazy for driving my EVO 1000 miles a week to work and back in any kind of weather, heck thats why I bought it to DRIVE it. Just cause you drive a lot doesn't mean you have to neglect your car, someday when i own my enzo I will drive that everyday too... except in the winter.

I should have 100k in another 16 months at the rate I'm going and I love every single mile

thats great to hear.... I'm enjoying every mile of my car, but for some reason still have the thought at the back of my head about how long she's gonna last!!! It's like when you're on vacation.... you know time will pass too fast so you try to savor it!

not to jack the post but 1,000 miles a week is only work related, I've averaged the mileage out since I purchased the car in Oct 04, and at the current rate I'm going it will be about 60k in Oct 05. I'm not worried about deprecation or reduction in performance, the car is basically stock and my dealer is very helpful withs warranty work besides I also have a short block at my friends garage that will be built for when I exhaust the 100k powertrain warranty!

THese cars a very fun and built to be driven, as long as you take care of and don't ABUSE them it should last a very long time. I for one couldn't imagine driving the miles I do in another car it would be way to boring, thats how people get road rage, if everyone drove an EVO the world would be a better place

Wow, the 5 gear synchro problem happened at 65K for the guy, I'm at 27K and already had my 5 gear synchro replaced...( good thing warranty covers it all)

and I'm gaining confidence on my stock clutch now! hahaha

I should get extend warranty... if it's not too late.. or too expensive.

Never a launch... (yeah I am afraid of the 2,500 for a Tcase) 4K miles on odometer... Stock clutch with TOB noise mostly after raining or wet... I'd like to see the highest moderatley modded evo milage.

you can launch the car and not cause tons of damage if you know what you are doing.
