Test Drove First Evo
Alright, I've been looking for an evo for a few weeks now. I finally got to drive on this morning. WOW. If he would have put a contract on the dash during the drive I would have given him my first 3 children. Had many old school rear wheel drive V8 cars, but i've never felt anything like this. At 3g the turbo was sucking for air, at 4g the wheels were fighting for traction. Oh love it. Going to sell off some stuff and find a deal (these guys were trying to screw me, perfect credit and they were trying to give me a 10% interest rate). I'll find one though....

Still just damn jealous of all you guys...

You know, the same thing happened to me the first time i drove an evo. I fell in love instantly. Only bad thing was that a whole year went by before i finally got one. I honestly love it, and when i decide to sell mine, i'm just going to buy a new one.

What dealership did you go to? I got the best dealership experiance from Ray Skilman Mitsubishi over on the west side of Indy. Best way to go is to finance it through your own bank though. Next best is to agree to what ever the dealership wants and then RE-finance it through your bank.

It happens to alot of us. I was very happy with V8s and now I can't see myself going back. First time driving an Evo I was like man this is how a car should drive. It has the accelaration, handling and response that is not easily matched by many cars. The best thing of all is that if you think it's great stock you are in for a big surprise my friend. It responds very well to mods and you don't have to break the bank to make it even quicker. Good luck.

I don't blame you, I absolutely love this car. I mean when I really get on the gas it's such a rush it's amazing. You get use to the power though, but that can happend to any car, but I still love this car to death. I never plan on selling or trading it in, except for maybe another EVO one day. I just can't see myself driving anything else. Now there are a couple of cars I wouldn't mind owning a long with this EVO (like another 3000GT VR4) but the EVO stays.

haha.
The evo never fails to impress.
Wow, they said 10% apr?
I know rates are kind of high these days but that's a bit steep.
It all depends on your credit and the lender you go though.
I just got my mr 2months ago and I got 6% for 60months.
I wanted to get around 5%, but couldnt find anything below that.
Good luck with your purchase.

Yeah, the guy just got done saying i had an awesome credit score. Any that my rate would be 10%...my repsone: "Wow if good is 10 you must really stick it to the bad scores..." he just mumbled something and went on.
My plan now is to sell off my truck, I can make a few grand over what I owe on it, sell off the mustang stuff I no longer need, and finace it through a bank with cheaper rates. There will be one in my drive...oh yes...there will

oh my, a blank check. That would be pretty sweet. Yeah, it may take a few more weeks, but i'll definitely have one. I just feel sorry for my family and friends until then, they're going to have to hear about it until I get one...
