All we the production EVO VIIIs we've dyno have made 180-190 wheel hp on our AWD dyno. The one EVO VII we've tested made 210-220 wheel hp. Same boost, same octane, similiar testing conditions. That's a pretty big percentage difference.

Do we know what the ~30 horsepower difference between the JDM Evo VII and the USDM EVO VIII is yet?
Smaller size Cams?
More restrictive exhaust?
or is it just the ECU holding us back?
If you could shed light into this Shiv, or anyone else, it would be appreciated.
