Does anyone know what exhaust the FQ400 Has?

Does anyone know what exhaust the FQ400 Has?

I like the stock look of it in a video i saw and the sound was decent wasnt too loud but sounded pretty damn good. I know its a Euro car but i was just trying to see if anyone here has any clue what exhaust it is?

I dont know the model but HKS makes it

How about a complete mod list of the mr fq 400. IMHO if we could compile a list of all the parts they run on that car there would be a lot more fast stock ish appearing evos around.

The Partners

Rampage (Rampage Performance Motorparts)

A Weston-super-Mare based company with branches in Southampton and Liverpool, James Kaye (Current works BTCC driver) and Steve Turvey (US Pro Rally Champion 2002) are working as principle directors. Rampage is the leading HKS performance engine parts distributor in the UK. Rampage has worked closely with Mitsubishi Motors UK on both Evolution VIII and Evolution VIII MR, being the key partner in the FQ power upgrades for these vehicles. Rampage assigned Graham Neale, their in-house Product Development Engineer, formerly a Development Engineer in the Prodrive Drive Train department, to work on the FQ-400 development project from the outset. Rampage are responsible for parts specification, power unit, fuel delivery, all carbon trim products and provide the technical element to the programme. Rampage will be responsible for removing and reinstalling the engines for build and co-ordinating the production of all 100 FQ-400’s. Final commissioning will be carried out at Rampage in Southampton.

Flow Race Engines

Flow Race Engines, formally Warren Heath Motorsport, is a compact Warwick based company who specialize in preparation and development of performance road and race engines. Between partners Warren Heath and Duncan McLellan there is 33 years experience, most at world rally championship level with Prodrive and Motor Sport Developments (MSD) who were, until recently, running the Hyundai WRC team. Both Duncan and Warren have worked on a wide variety of technical and engineering upgrades including projects with Aston Martin, Lotus, Porsche and Cosworth. Flow Race Engines are responsible for the building of the FQ-400 power plant.

Owen Developments

Figurehead Brian Owen has vast experience in the motor sport field and has developed close links with Mitsubishi Motors UK, being instrumental an a number of vehicle power upgrades and enhancements including both the Evolution VIII FQ-330 and Evolution VIII MR FQ-340. The Oxfordshire based company has full rolling road facilities where the ECU mapping work for FQ-330, FQ-340 and now FQ-400 is completed. Owen Developments are main agents for MOTEC who have provided the ECU for the FQ-400. In addition, Owen Developments are the only official Garrett competition turbocharger dealer in the UK and have provided and specified the unique high performance turbocharger, cast stainless steel exhaust manifold and exhaust elbow for the FQ-400 project. The final tune for each FQ-400 will take place on the Owen Developments 4x4 rolling road facility to ensure optimum power and tune from each vehicle before reaching the customer.

HKS

HKS the World’s leading Japanese aftermarket performance parts specialist is the principal supplier of engine components for the FQ-400 project. HKS are undoubtedly Mitsubishi specialists and have developed a strong relationship and technical link with Mitsubishi worldwide. HKS Europe has been responsible for providing the Mitsubishi World Rally Team with the engines that power their Works Evolutions and now the Works WRC Car. HKS have full engine dynamometer facilities and a state of the art engine build shop that operates under the tightest security. HKS are already responsible for the FQ upgrade components fitted to Evolution VIII and Evolution VIII MR. All products are rigorously tested to destruction and are renowned world wide for quality and reliability.

Alcon Components

Alcon Components are responsible for the FQ-400 braking system and have developed a Monoblock 6-pot caliper and 343mm twin part disc specifically for the project. Alcon have also developed a clutch derived from their highly successful group N rally product. Based in Tamworth, Alcon have their Research and Development facility and workshop based at the same site and have established themselves as leaders in competition braking. Alcon have a vast depth of experience in providing bespoke solutions and components to projects such as the FQ-400 having previously worked extensively with Prodrive and other participants on the World Rally Championship.

Yea def, i would trade my MR for that thing in a second. I wish mitsu would sell the upgrade and give a 3 year warranty on it, i would buy that instantly. Kinda like what i hear Subaur does, sells alot of aftermarket parts through the dealer ship and its all covered under warranty by subaru. COME ON MITSU!!! DSM TO THE MAX IN USA

cause i just paid for the JUNBL catback exhaust, and i would love to have an exhaust that looks and sounds like the one on the FQ400 instead. If anyone can find it, i will cancel my other order and buy that lol.

It would be nice to buy one but hell, a 9 with like 4k in aftermarket parts will pull about 400hp. Then there is the warranty part...
