State Farm all the way!!
I have called for estimates from geico, progressive, allstate, etc. and all were higher with the same coverages and deductables. Now if I started playing with coverages and deductables I could make it less, but I could do the same with SF! Also, I have a friend with geico who filed a claim for someone breaking her outside mirror. She was lucky and got the parts at cost since she worked for a dealer and that absorbed some of the cost that wasnt covered. They only allowed like $45/hr on body labor. I dont know about where anyone else lives, but there isnt anyone working for $45/hr round here! more like $60-$90/hr! State Farm on the other hand will pay whatever and you can take the vehicle to any shop of your choice.

I friggin HATE Geico. I was 24 when I bought my Prelude (9 years ago). After hearing all those ads about saving money, I called them. They wanted DOUBLE what State Farm was charging me! They said it was so high because I was under 25, single, and driving a SPORTS car. How is a 170hp coupe any more of an insurance risk than a sedan? Hell, there are Accords out there with more power! They basically just want to skim off the top - just insure the people who barely ever make claims. I bet if I call them now (33 and married) they will start to be competitive, but still probably not that much better than State Farm. So now they want my business because I'm low risk? Screw 'em... I'm sticking with the company that stuck with me.
By the way, in the last 10 years, I have made numerous claims with SF: stolen motorcycle, hail damage on my wife's G35, and a minor accident recently. They were excellent in every case. Although this minor accident will probably raise my premiums a little since it was my fault.

Like a good neighboor....
You get what you pay for, and im not just saying that b/c i work for them either. Service it stop notch. If it is broken and can be fixed, they will fix it RIGHT, if it can't be fixed, they are fair w/ their total loss valuations.

I understand many of you are $hitting on Geico, they aren't as large as State Farm just yet, and i'm sure state farm has issues as well, all i know is, next month i turn 25, 0 points, and the car is in my name, When i called my agent, she couldn't tell me WHY state farm was charging me over $1,000 semi annually, that is over $2,000/year, so I said peace !!!!!!! Geico is getting more and more customers, I for one am going to tell all my friends to call, word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, don't be surprised when Geico in a few years gets bigger than all state~

I am with State farm and I pay $560 every 6 months. Take in condsideration however that I am 29 and I have not had a ticket in 5 years (knock on wood). The last time I checked with Geico and Progressive for that matter they were both higher than State farm for me. But in the end it is different for everyone, and you gotta go with what saves you money.
