Just FYI I have run these tires and I like my Falken RT615's much better and I can buy 2 sets for what you paid brother.

I didn't claim mine were better. i said I provided actual PROOF of how good they are, and I said yours aren't $450 better. You have absolutely nothing to base your claims off of other than driving around the street.
Also, I didn't say anything about wet conditions. That has nothing to do with 99% of my racing and 95% of my daily driving. When was the last time you RACED in rain? Or when was the last time you raced AT ALL?
Yeah, passing modded Z06s with race tires is no "feat." YOu do it all the time, right? The speed rating hardly means anything. Why are you so deadset on what you think you know when you've never tracked your car? And why are you not listening to those who have raced with that tire and other tires that perform better?
I do not have an autocrossing tire designed for autocrossing. Where in the WORLD did you get that idea? I use V710 DOT slicks for autocrossing...RT615s are just my daily drivers and drag tires.
Why are you talking about Al and making false accusations about things that have nothing to do with tires? Are you trying to get yourself banned? Why don't you take your 5th grade science book and prove all this on a track instead of making claims with no evidence whatsoever?

It's awfully interesting that you are recommending an all-season tire to people with high horsepower Evos because of the performance of the tire. Any all-season tire is going to provide a significant step down in performance from a dedicated summer tire. This tire is definitely a step down from the stock Advans when it comes to performance. As an all-around all-year tire, they may be a great buy, but they are definitely not worth purchasing if your top priority is warm-weather performance.

The speed rating doesn't mean you can take turns better - it only has to do with top speed stability, and I highly doubt you will EVER be need the maximum speed rating of an Advan. I challenge you to go to a real track and put down some track times to prove your claims. It's best to not say anything until you have lap times - that's what I did with my 255/40-17 Azeni RT615s. I didn't say anything until I had verifiable lap times that were outstanding. In fact, that video of me passing Z06s is with my Azenis that only cost $600 at Discount Tire, including mounting, balancing, warranty, and everything else you got. Your Michelins are not $450 better than my Azenis...

The most technologically advanced all-season tires we make, Michelin® Pilot® Sport A/S tires offer all-season performance without sacrificing any of the outstanding handling qualities for which Michelin Pilot tires are known. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires utilize our patented C3M Technology™ to precisely place three specialized rubber compounds across the tread, giving them highly capable performance in virtually any weather condition. Moreover, the recent redesign has further improved steering response, lateral dry grip, high speed stability, and straight line tracking. Note: There is no mixability or compatibility issue with the previous version of Pilot Sport A/S tires.
Take on bone-dry hairpin turns
Confidently maneuver winter roads
Maintain outstanding handling and grip rain-soaked S-curves
Stand up to aggressive corners, and get powerful handling while maintaining comfort
Drive harder and farther with a flatter crown and improved treadwear
Experience optimized performance in a variety of conditions
Improved steering response and cornering power
For Michelin to make such a claim, being one of the first tire manufacturers, something must be right. They're not a third-rate company like Falken. I'd be willing to bet my tires will own your's in the dry, wet, snow, etc. Being that mine are all-season and your's are some bargain-box rice-boy tire. I wonder why car companies that make MUCH faster and MUCH better performing cars chose to mount these on their vehicles and not the Azeni's. I mean, your opinion surely out-does that of German Engineer's who actually design cars, whereas you drive a $30,000 car around a track and think you're somebody. Get over it, man. Your tires are crap. My tires are mounted on EXOTIC SPORTS CARS. Vehicles that GREATLY surpass your's. Stop being so egotistical, you're wrong. Porsche people love them, Ferrari's have them, hell, even Saleen has a Michelin Pilot type tire on their S7. And why do I bring Al into this? For one, he scams people. For two, you associate with him. I want everyone to understand what kind of people you associate with. Afterall, Birds of a Feather Flock Together
