After getting the Greddy Ti

Ok I'm getting the Greddy Ti here soon and have read that the exhaust comes short of the bumper. People recommended to either extend the exhaust or buy a heat shield. I was wondering if one or the other would be fine? For example, extending the exhaust so there would be no need to buy a heatshield and my bumper wouldnt melt... Or just buying a heatshield without extending the exhaust at all... My objective is to keep my bumper as long as i can but I dont want to buy both if they aren't needed. Thanks for the help everyone!

Definitely need a heat shield. The tip is going to be just inside the bumper and very close to touching the bottom.

Get a heat shield if you don't want to burn your rear bumper.

when i installed my greddy TI when i still had my old stock rear bumper, it came out perfect not short not close to the bumper at all. and it looked great. after driving with it for almost a year, there was no discoloring or distortion at all. btw my evos white, so it should have done the most damage there.

JDM rear, i know u said u want to keep your bumper, but the Greddy Ti looks great with the JDM rear, you can see the GREDDY writing on the side of the exhaust tip and its sticks out just right.

Mine fits awesome the way it came. I don't have the extender or heat shield and my bumper is fine.

forget about it... just buy a IX rear bumper and your problem is solved.

Mine fits perfect too! I get a little carbon build up on the bumper but it comes off every wash. Excellent bang for the buck in my book in terms of flow and weight elimination.

That might be an option later then, does anyone have a picture of a JDM bumper on a TB Evo? Maybe even a IX if I can be picky
