Sometimes in the parking lot of my townhouse, sometimes in my parents' garage at their house. I've never gone to a shop but I might go to AMS (DC not IL) in the spring for the cams. Although by then I'll probably read enough to feel confident to do that myself too.

Just do it youself man. You'll feel so much better when talking about your car to people.

Uhh....TurboTrix and my garage.

Although I did have my clutch done by Scott's Transmission in Lebanon, they do premium work btw.

I did about 99% of the stuff myself. Only thing i didnt do was replace my clutch because i didnt have the tools yet. Just do it yourself. It helps you learn about the car, and you appreciate it more after its done. And saves $$

I go to my buddies garage. He has more/nicer tools.

I am kinda suprised by the amount of diy'ers. We need more of those types.

I was actually going to make a post today that would have asked "how many people did work on their previous car themselves?"

I didn't... only thing i ever did to my bmw's were brake pads.

My evo however a friend and i have don't BR stages 1&2 plus some other stuff. maywood mitsu sucks.

the other mitsu near me the parts people are nice, haven't brought it there for service though.
