if you're serious about buying you should contact huntington beach mitsubishi or south coast mitsubish here in california...even with shipping you'd probably get one cheaper then you would out there.

The prices don't budge around here. The cheapest they will let one go is close to $36K.
I didn't do too bad, I got mine for $35 flat before anything. Shipping on the top row for one shipping company I was quoted like $1400.
Taxes here are 3% on cars, which is lucky, cause back home in FL they are 7% which would have been a good amount more. So 35K+1K(tax)+GAP+T-and-T= close to 38K OTD.
With a ****TY 7% interest rate (god our economy sucks) my payments are higher than I would like: $680 a month.
If anyone knows about financing I'm curious about something. My fiance` and I were down in FL for a wedding. We decided to buy the Evo, but because the car was financed in my fiance's name and she's not a registered FL resident, they said we couldn't go through local credit unions. So we got stuck with a higher rate because that was the best rate out of the banks available to us. Why were we not allowed to go through local credit unions??
We're going to re-finance locally (after I put about 10K more down on the car) because we already got a rate of 5% on our bike.
