haha .. i have a gsr, and my defi's see the same drop.
My buddy's evo 9 RS with the factory gauges see the same drop too...
same engine load + same turbo= same amount of boost rise/fall
gearing affects it minutely, and i dont think it matters very much in your instance except for the extra money you paid...

when i got my ix MR back in march, boost would spike to 1.4-1.5 bar. about two months ago, my ix is boosting to 1.2-1.3 bar. i just changed the clamps to t-bolts and still gettin 1.3 bars. bosst never drops below 1.1 bar.
i have 5470 miles and the only mod i have done is a works drop in filter. so far, no cel's.

And just like Max-Q said, I included only factory boost gauges because that is what I have. Its common knowledge that some boost gauges read differently than others, and there is much room for error. Your gauge reads in PSI, mine in BAR (or kg/cm^2 whatever it is). I'm not trying to glorify MR's or anything like that, just trying to get accurate information.

Yeah that sounds perfectly normal, especially on a clod night/day. I have an 05 MR...all the mods in my sig. And i just installed a greddy electronic boost guage, and i still have the factory one hooked up. The factory guage is no where near as reasponsive to boost as the greddy unit. But when i installed the greddy i did a 2nd gear pull and hit 25psi and held right around 18 to 19 psi. And thats with no tune, and no boost controller. Needless to say on pump gas that NO GOOD!
