I should have done this two years ago!

By the way, I was dating a lady 400 miles down the interstate (we are now married). So, if I wanted a date on Friday night it was 400 down and 400 back, all the way with my foot on the throttle. The stupid thing about this is, at that time I had all the cruise parts in a box in my shop. It wasn't till the other day that someone else posted to this forum saying that they had cruise. That provided the push necessary to get me started.
Well, back to the shop to pick up the scattered tools.

As for the control that goes inside the car, the manufacturers usually provide a selection to choose from.
The problem with fitting cruise to an Evo is how to attach the pull cable to the throttle. The throttle bellcrank is made of some thermo plastic and there is no room to put a loop around the cable termination like I did on my DSM. The bellcrank is also pressed onto the throttle shaft - in other words, no nut on the end where you could mount another arm. Some people have rigged the actuator under the dash to pull the accelerator. That makes for a messy installation. So, what I was able to find was a little clamp, which I used to clamp the two cables together.
Once you find a place for the actuator and figure out how to attach the pull cable to the throttle, the rest is wiring.

Do you mind posting some install step pictures and maybe a better explanation for those of us who are mechanically challenged. Your earlier instructions were more cliff notes McGuyver sounding to me.
