Pure Tuning dynoed an EVO 9 showing mods made by installing intake and exhaust and showed huge gains on a Mustang Dyno.

This really is 100% FALSE....The dealership can warranty a part without contacting a regional representative. The parts are sent into the mfg. for claims processing, but a representative would never know that a car was modded unless the dealer wanted to let them know. If the dealership does not want to warranty a part, due to abuse / misuse / mods / etc. they often will involve a regional representative.
I would be happy to introduce you to a few dealership owners that would walk you through the process...

You must remember also that it's not the dealership that denies the warranty claim - it's the district or regional rep, unless it's something simple. If it's anything big, the rep has to inspect the damaged part, inspect the car, and then make a determination. At that point, the dealer would just shrug their shoulders and point at the district rep saying, "Sorry, we'd warranty the engine if we could, but the big man says 'no.'"

Works Drop in filter max whp= 242.2
max lb/ft torque= 248.6
This was on a dynopack dyno at SRM tuning. Per SRM most evo 9's made 220-245 whp on their dyno. thanks again guys!

Duhhhhh...
Duhhhh, I must have had a brain fart... Sweet results with just a drop in filter that costs around 100 bucks
I wonder if it is from better flow alone or slightly leaner A/F ratios
