P300 Code - Misfire - Car not acting up?
Through searching, I've read a great deal about this code and what things might be causing it. Some of them included:
1 - Plugs
2 - Clutch (Just installed a new twin disk)
3 - Cams (Just installed 272's)
4 - Exhaust (Not sure why this would cause it but just had a straight pipe installed).
5 - Tune (The idle was tuned high due to the lope of the cams)
Included with the above I had alky installed. Running 26.5pds of boost.
My question is this, the car seems to be running fine so would it hurt the car to run it like normal until the problem is located and fixed? This is the one answer I was looking for but just couldn't find.
Thanks for your feedback.

That's what I'm thinking, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing more damage even though I can't tell anything is wrong except for the code.

I believe some of the more famous evo ecu flashers can fix this and include it in your flash.
I remember reading about turbotrix doing it, al and probably a few others can as well.
The p0300 seems to be an issue in the ecu and not really harmful that I know of. I believe it is due to controlling the ignition timing. People with ecu+ fight this issue but it doesn't seem to hinder performance

Unless something has changed very recently, no has has successfully fixed this with just a reflash. I could be wrong though. I do know that Mitsu could not. You can try changing plugs. I switched from the stock plugs to NGK BPR7eix. I did that for a while and it seemed to show up less frequently. Right now I'm currently running NGK BPR8es. I think I've seen this code maybe three time since the beginning of last year til present. THis is not a guarenteed fix, just what's worked for me.
