Perrin CEL Fix; Will other codes still throw the CEL?

Just wondering if i get the Perrin 02 simulator if my CEL will still work when other unrelated codes are thrown? I don't want to buy this and have my CEL never come on again if something starts to go seriously wrong. Does anybody know?

That's what i figured.

Does anybody know this to be a proven fact? Is there anyone using the CEL fix that has gotten an unrelated code since?

It only hooks up to the rear o2 sensor so thats why its the only code that it fixes.

The cel will still go off if anything else goes wrong but if i were you i would just make the mechanical cel fix where you use the spark plug spacers then you will still be able to get readings from you rear o2 sensor.. also it is way cheaper

I have the perrin cel fix and it works perfectly. It still allows the other sensors in the car to cause a cell to come up. A great piece 2 years in car with no issues. You will need to be comfortable with moding the factory wire under the console. If this bothers you then try the mech fix. Good luck
