Might wanna ask some Aussie or New Zealanders...they seem to have most experience with Motec systems. (from what I heard the systems are very expensive but very precise in tune settings)

Have you gotten the video of the Evo 8 vs. STi hosted on the net? If so, can you post the link?

Thanks in advance.

I picked it up for about 15 bucks from this store.
Hey i know the store was not in MD, or was it. i ordered it online, and it could not play in my DVD player because of region restrictions , or the format was off. Anyone know a fix for this, or a dvd player that i can buy in the USA that plays multi region DVD's ? I am dying to view this on my 60, my 17 computer monitor is not cutting it for me.

I've seen a apex DVD player play anything. Best thing was it was only $79.

Value: Apex is the brand name right? Do you know where I can get one? Best Buy? Circuit City?

I ask because I was looking to buy an inexpensive DVD player for my room and this seems like a good choice.

Thanks in advance.

Best Motoring April Issue EVO8 DVD

If anyone is interested in the EVO8 DVD from Best Motoring April Issue, which this clip in this post is from e-mail me (minh@tdcinc.net) I purchased it from E-Bay and can't watch it because of Regional Coding so I am willing to let it go for the best offer I can get. It will play in a multi-region DVD-player.

Kind Regards,

Mitsuevo007

Apex is a brand name really cheap try Kmart. My friend had one and he could play any coded DVD's with it. Burned VCD's from internet Mpeg's the whole works. Might try to bring the DVD with you and maybe they will have one hooked up so you can test it out. Good luck. My DVD is the same won't play jack so I just by VHS. Got a bunch of sweet drift VHS's. Also going to Japan next month for 2 weeks. I'll be grabbing lots of them.

I've got the MPEG but it's too large for me to host... if someone would host it I could send it to him.

FWIW the STis in the video are the JDM 2.0 liter version and a Spec C as well, not the USDM 2.5 liter model.

It's pretty interesting to see how the GSR started out in front together with the STi and somehow the STi couldn't close the distance, even in the straights, even though the STi is supposed to have more torque.
