There will be no paint left on my car next year!
At the rate the paint chips are happening I will have a gunmetal car by next year. Without a doubt after every time I wash the car there are at least 2 new paint chips. Mirrors, quarter panels, hood, and I won't even discuss the front bumper. I am going to start saving change in a jar for a new paint job .

I had a clear bra, its great for protecting the paint...but the rocks cut up the clear bra and it makes your front end look faded and dingy. Not to mention if you want to take it off later, i believe you will have to repaint. My car is in the shop cuz an illegal mexican ran a red light and nailed my front end. so i told them not to put it back on.

The front of my Evo looks like it has gone through an Iraqi checkpoint without stopping and fired upon with machine guns. I have more chips, dings, etc caused by rocks than you would think possible. My intercooler fins are all jacked, as well. But my car looks good from a distance though.

I recently just bought this stuff, along with the masking film and dispenser. I'll be taking a 2000-plus mile road trip in a few weeks and don't want to add to the already disappointing number of rock chips on the face of my Evo - one chip is down to the aluminum - from a monstrous, jagged rock.
I like how you can easily peel this stuff off with one clean pull. I'll try to remember to post a review when I return from my trip after some 5000 miles of total driving - most of it interstate and highway.

this is a very common problem the paint jobs on our car. I actually have even found chips are my rear deck lid. My hood looks horrible which is why i bought a CF hood, but I am not putting the hood on and I think I might just save up and get the hood painted really good.

wtf ^^^ Anyways... this problem seems to be random on these cars, not really sure why. My buddy and I have the same car, same year, same color and his paint is chipping everywhere but mine just has two on the front which is normal with any car. Different paint batches maybe????
