I got eliminated in the first round after qualifing with a 9.32@150.72. In time trials it ran 9.41@152.3. Since I drove it 450 miles over the weekend would this be concidered the quickest and fastest street driven EVO VIII?
Congrats on your Amazing passes. You are a Freaking ANIMAL....

I remember reading people doubting him on his stock turbo record, little did people know who he was. That was a funny thread. Look at this record on a GT35R. I can guarantee you guys he is not done with it yet .

I was amazed by Mr. Brown's display of driving and how fast he went on the Gt35 R
Great job Mr. Brown and Buschur for amazing driving and tuning
However - its not accurate to say he just changed his tires and raced as a street car
A lot of stuff was removed- including no exhuast, no headlights, no interior, no seats, no parking break, no rear view mirrors, no wipers etc etc etc and it was done on a full racing slick.
Not hating - just keeping it real. Mr. Brown is prob the best driver of DSM's in the world but the laws of physics are also working in his favor. The car may have been a street going car when it drove to the track but it was a serious drag only
evo when it ran the time
This set up does not resemble any street driving cars I see on the road
Mr. Brown if you have a chance come by the real street tire / car race in two weeks
Full exhuast - radial street tires - two seats - etc - I would like to see how fast you go there

Curt Brown. I have a Request!
Next time you are out dragging your car and videoing it, will you please get someone to record your shifting? I would love to see how fast you shift!
Thank you very much

Sweet times! I saw you like old Mopars so here is mine from the late 80's. She ran 9.20's winging a 340 for all she was worth It is hard to believe a Evo can be driven to an event and run just as fast. Congrats!
