CB shootout report:
First big thanks to Dave Buschur for a stout shortblock and a crazy dyno tune, AMS for my 35r turbo kit and Shep for my slick shifting trans. Huge congrats to Dan Buschur for the 8 second pass, Shep for the cleanest pass of the day, AMS for running 165mph, and Marco for cleaning house in the Quick 16(sandbagger!) I got eliminated in the first round after qualifing with a 9.32@150.72. In time trials it ran 9.41@152.3. Since I drove it 450 miles over the weekend would this be concidered the quickest and fastest street driven EVO VIII?

Curt, I think you qualify for the quickest/fastest street driven EVO. Very proud to be a part of the build and to have the honor of tuning it. The car is amazing, you are an amazing driver.
People have to understand how fast this really is. They also need to see you show up driving it with the car absolutely packed to the roof with tires/wheels/fuel/tools/jack etc. Watch you change the wheels/tires in the pits, run 9.3 at 150+, then change it all back over and drive 4 hours home.
Just out of curiousity, how was the fuel mileage on that tune on your way home?

yeah man..that was a pretty crazy drive you did yesterday..the car was like "jumping " from the start to the 60' mark ...
I think you could've broke the 8's a long time ago if you were to drive Buschur's or AMS's car
congratz!
