Rough idle after Mbc?

Hey guys, i've tried to search as much as I can, but no luck.

I just installed a Forge Mbc this weekend. My car is stock other than the mbc for power/engine mods. I'm wondering though if things are ok after i installed it. Seems like my idle now is more "rough" , like a misfire. Previous to the mbc it was fairly smooth, but after I've noticed a difference.

My question is, what could possibly be wrong? Or would a flash cure my idle? Or would a ecu reset work? (i'm coming from honda's, which resetting the ecu was a common thing...)

Probably just a vacuum leak, recheck all your lines for leaks.

Are you sure you didn't fiddle with anything else? My idle was the same as stock when I put in the Forge MBC.

Positive. Only thing I can think of, its the tubing where the stock bov is may not be completely lined up perfect. I'll have to do some double or triple checking I guess...

Did you pull the lines of the stock boost solenoid? Did you make sure to cap them or loop a hose between them? Also make sure you capped the nipple coming off the intake hose.

Yes I did, good points though. Only thing that comes to mind after you said that, is the nipple coming off the intake hose came OFF when we pulled the line from intake itself. I pushed it back in, and tried to ziptie it back in place, but I'm not sure if that'll hold...lol.

I'll recheck that for sure, but what can I use to plug that hole if that nipple won't stay in there?

Thanks for the quick replies to all 3 of you.
