Sometimes, the best way is to just talk to him. In most cases, they will listen and understand. After all, you guys are neighbors. Not to mention if you befriend him, he might just be able to reverse tickets for u in teh future.

Beat the **** out of him when no ones around, drag him into your yard, break a window with a rag or something, call the cops, tell them he tried to break in and you were defending your family. Tell them you want a tresspassing warrant and you want him removed from the premises. Make sure he's knocked the f*ck out, though.
