If you hit ~7200 rpms in 4th gear with stock tires, how fast are you going?

(I don't want to try it to find out)

 

At 7200 RPM you would be going aprox 117 mph. At the rev limiter (7,600 RPM) you would be going aprox 123 mph.

How about a IX 5spd in 4th?

 

110 mph at 7200 116 mph at 7600.

what about in 1st on the ix mr because mine went into first gear by accident and was at a rediculously high rpm..went up to 6500 in 2nd and going to 3rd it went into 1st and i didnt force it into gear

In 4th i'm only at 110 at 7000?

 

How are people complaining baout being limited in drag racing? 4th seems plenty tall enough especially with 50 trim yanking the power band to 8000RPM's.

 

it was really odd how it did it, i cant put it in 1st pulling up to a stop sign or anything

Well you really shouldn't be using 1st gear when coming to a stop. If you do then try to keep in under 15mph.

 

well in my IX MR i pull 4th all the way though the 1/4 mile @ the end. I traped at 105... sooo if that helps any, i didnt know the 8's had a higher trap speed than IX's...

Oh yeah i ran a 13.1 @ 105 with only full exhaust.

nah i dont downshift into 1st to slow down i just coast up to it then i put it in this is while the clutch is disengaged
