Just wondering what kind of boost guage I should get, where I should put it and what I should mount it with. If you guys could help me out it would be a big help.

I guess I will be the first to say search
Stewart warner is my choice but if you have $200+ to spend on a single gauge then get defi. Mount it where you like it best. steering wheel, a-piller, lower dash pod, relocation kit for radio, glove box, etc...

so the white tube goes through the other black tube...

do they sell vac tubing at an autoparts store.. i'd rather not order online and have to wait to be shipped

Thats really weird that they sent you that. That is the vacum line for the gauge. It is kind of hard right. its not rubber but kind of a rubber, plastic line right? When I got my SW gauge I ordered the tubing kit and it looks like your line and the line from the tubing kit are the same just the color. I would use that but if its not long enough to reach order the tubing kit from 42 its $12.

Can't you just go to autozone or whatever auto parts store is in your area and buy some generic vacuum line for like $.25 per foot? That is the way I have always done it. Oh, and they also sell the little white tees to tap into the line in the engine bay. I don't see the point in spending $12 on something that costs like $4 at any store.

I have also used that hard white plastic on another car. It can be done but you have to find the right fitting, which can also be purchased at autozone. The soft line is the easier way to go. Threading that hard white line is a pain in the ***.
