Like I said less than a 1/4 mile, on a side note, you have too much time calculating that.

There was an article comparing the same EVO with the AYC on and with it off, and the AYC on was faster on the course by a little bit. Of course this is an unfair comparison as the US car is not open rear diff but rather LSD, and although lots of people have CLAIMED AYC is faster, I have yet to see this proven.

From what I have read the car is less predictable with AYC and therefore not any faster.

I'm really afraid of that... I really hope they don't screw it up. If it starts looking like the X is going to be more a GT car, I will go out and get one of the last IX's and keep it forever...

The Evo X will be as much a Dodge Caliber as the Evo IX is a Mitsubishi Outlander. Just because they are built on the same platform doesn't mean that much. You guys really need to give Mitsubishi the benefit of the doubt right now. It's not like they have been building amazing Evos for over 10 years or anything.

Um, no. The regular Lancer will be based off the Caliber platform, not the Lancer EVO!

There are many rumors going around that the actual frame of the Evo X will be the same as that of the dodge caliber. The 4G63 will also not be included. Sounds like Chrysler is having more to do with the devlopment of the X than Mitsubishi. This is all speculation however.
