500th post

If you are recir, with the factory box - prby wont hear the diff. Might be a little more noticable, not thats about it.

With a cone type intake - donno. Im interested in it more for the boost holding aspects than sounds.

Oh im i nterested in the holding aspect of it as well over the sound. definately function over form here.

Was just curious as to if there was any sound change over the stock and JDM BOV's.

Im running an Injen. just wondered is all.

I like that it works on and off the track, but honestly the whistle can be bothersome. It only whistles in light to 1/2 boost let offs, 16+ psi - whoosh - no whistle. If I am on the freeway (80ish), with AC on, the vac will be about 10 on my boost gauge, and the type-s will whistle a little.

I got it cheap, but the rubber dia. has melted once already (replaced for free). If it goes again, Ill get something else.

Correct, IXs have the metal "JDM Evo 8 MR" DV.

JDM Evo 8 MR DV = IX DV

Man, looks more like a mathmatical statement than words. But I think its clear.
