I have the basics for my car. With a dyno tune. MBC, Intake, UICP, BOV, Walbro, guages, turbo timer, tbe, and a flash, as I said before. 322 whp and 331 ft lb of torque on a mustang dyno. I think I will go for some more power, keeping the stock turbo of course, but later on when good reliable exhaust and intake cams come out. I will also probably add an upgraded intercooler and LICP. But for now, I am stuck between these three things, as my next mod: A custom paint job, a clutch, or some 18" rims and tires. The stock clutch I have isn't slipping, it's doing its job, but, I know it will go out sooner or later. Help me out.

I say take care of your needs before your wants. I would save up for the clutch, a licp doesn't hurt either.

I've got about 4,500 to play with, maybe 5,000. So I got the dough for any of these options, just debating which. I could go for like mediocre rims, an ACT clutch, and the paint job for that money, but I like to get GOOD stuff. As opposed to a bunch of mediocre stuff. I'd rather get one good part.

Well, learning how to tame the power I have and drive the car correctly would probably be better than just getting 400whp without even knowing how to tame what I have. I'm not an excessive person, like I said, I want more power when the cams come. I'm pretty satisfied right now, being it's a daily driver. I want to have a good time, just don't want to break stuff in the process. I want the paint job like the turbotrix racing car, I want rims, I want a clutch, it's just in what order to get it all.

get the licp and wheels and tires

what are you intentions with the car? I guess mostly street since you want to go with 18s?

you'll have left over money for a clutch savings fund unless you go wild on the wheels and tires

painting your car will cost a lot more than 5 grand for something nice...and a bright color like that on a modified street driven car probably isn't the best thing either.

Yeah your numbers are nice on a mustang (you will want more later) I say enjoy it for a while unless you really know what you want to spend your money on..

Ask your self which you want first.
I would do clutch, cams, coilovers then rims then turbo ect..

Hm. What clutch do you think will be good? Also, the clutch will indefinitely put more power down, right? Or do I not have enough power for me to be losing any on the stock clutch?

If it were my car I would put some cash aside for a clutch later on down the road because you're definitely going to need it. Then once the IX cams were released I would get them custom tuned with a FMIC/LICP and an ebay o2 housing to get out every last bit of power on the stock turbo.

If the IX cams show the VIII 280 cam type gains that Im hoping for, then you'd be looking at another 40-50whp from the cams, fmic, licp, and o2. Wow, this is definitely what you should do before anything else
