A polite caution to a couple of you in this thread. I don't how we attract some of you people but you won't be here long if you cannot respect our rules. It is really stupid that on an evening when Evo's are making spectacular runs we have a few knuckleheads wanting to fight about anything. Again, enjoy the site but knock off the chat room language or leave.

Man what a event !

The Subaru came up BIG today when I bogged with my radials - first pass on the 255 60 16 radials and I had the two step set a bit too low - ran a 12.9 @ 149

congrats to Team Big Valley - the Subaru was the better car today with a record setting 9.5 @ 149

ALL was not lost as on my second and final pass . . . .

I set a new record for the fastest Evo 8 on radial tires with a 9.8 @ 149

Achieving RH9 status has been a dream of mine for a long time and tonight it finally came through

9 second - street radial - full interior street legal without nos = RH9 status

Also - big props to AMS with a 8 second pass

These mini event was the most fun I have had in a super long time - it was 3 cars and 3 great results in only two passes each

Well you are going to win or loose

I am one guy and not a professional driver - I am pleased with my runs tonight. Even John Force has thrown a red light or two in his day.

This was my first pass with a new set up and sometimes it takes a frew attempts to get used to it - in this case the second pass was a new record

I did all the wrenching on my car the past 7 days to get ready for this race and make it to the event

My car is still running 100% with nothing broken and ready to race some more on the continuation - postponement date of October 14, 2006 at Raceway Park

 

Hey Al what was your 60ft on today's 9.8 pass?

 

i thought turbo trix went with you guy's. did they run, brake, not go??????????

 

im sure they went. the had the big valley car in thier trailor with thier STI...
