Recaros: worn out leg bolsters and leg bolster fabric?
#31
I don't know about Recaros but the maker usually has complete seat covers for cars for about three years after the year of production. This would be way cheaper than new seats and look better than hand made. I'd still have a shop install these.
Mitsu, however, may refer your request to Recaro. They too should have replacement covers in stock. However, the time is getting short.

my car in one month old
and I am already showing signs of wear on both the upper and lower leather part. I get in an out as carefully without looking stupid ofcourse. But I think it such premature wear. maybe I need to condition it. i am going to go to the dealer and talk to them.

All fabric Recaros I have seen wear out on the bolsters. This includes OEM itr seats and JDM itr seats all wear and get wrinkled areas that dont come out. Try not to wear rough material pants like rough jeans and velcro and zippers.
The only recaros I have owned that have not worn are my SPG's, but those are racing shells.

Wow, my car is a 2003, and have about 50k on my car, and there's almost no wear on the seats or bolsters.. My floor mat and arm rest pad are the only parts showing any sort of wear.. What is different about my car or habits? Are you guys with the wear generally large framed guys?
Anyone who knows me knows I treat my car like a daily driver so I've never taken any extra effort to prevent wear or damage.

I'm a pretty average framed guy, and not terribly tall either.. 5'8". The Evo is my daily as well, I feel like it's just the act of getting into and out of the car that "chafes" the bolsters. And over time it just wears down... that is my guess. I also wear jeans almost every day of the year (no dress code for work).

VIII seats look like shat anyways. Worn bolsters are an excellent reason/excuse for VIII owners to upgrade to IX seat. Sell the VIII seats to a Suby, DSM, or other car owner (they wont care bout that fabric, they'll be happy that have "Eveo" seats).
BuLocal, those seats are terrible. Looks like something a fat chick would have in her '96 Geo.
